I’m making the effort to welcome winter.
One way that works for me is scouting around at garden shows to see the best of what’s around now and to find new varieties of favourite plants. The R.H.S. Shades of Autumn Show last Friday and Saturday was almost the last one in London this year.
There were, as usual, lots of specialist nurseries handing out priceless information about how to grow their plants.
Just like a village show, there’s a competition for the best autumn plants and flowers.
Petersham Nursery had a swoon-worthy display:The last R.H.S London Show is the Frost Fair on Sunday 1st November, find out more about it here and more about Petersham Nurseries here.
Happy gardening, Jill
