This week my Friday inspiration is the architectural detail of tiles around this little window, typical of the *Arts & Crafts style of architecture.
It’s near where I live and everytime I see it, I’m reminded about how small details really make a difference.
The glimpse of the tree through the narrow gap is nice too, isn’t it.
* The Arts & Crafts movement happened from 1870-1920 in England, it was a reaction against mass production, using inspiration from nature, local materials where possible and with emphasis on craftsmanship. It doesn’t sound too out of place to present day does it?
